Dearest pop is eighty today
So I have a few bars I would like to say
Your are not like any other pensioner I know
You still have a healthy and joyful glow

Unlike other oldies you can still drive
And you have the strength to have shingles and survive
You are one of the strongest people I know
You're always on the go

You are determined to do anything
And never let your age stand in your way
Ask Nan and Keelan that is what they will also say

You are fair, considerate and always have a go
You are fit and it doesn't really matter if you're slow
I hope you had a great day
And good luck for the State Of Origin aye
