Not a drum was heard, not a funeral note,
My beloved dog died, I collapsed in shock.
I wish this is a hallucination,
I pinched myself but this isn’t mock.
The days when we ran in joy,
Permeated my mind like water.
We’ll never have those days again, will we?
God, why don’t you revive her!
The clouds in the sky are charcoal black,
This is the day I’m most doleful.
I will remember you forever,
You made my life so blissful.
My heart is full of lament and sorrow,
In heaven can you hear my cry?
You’ve been with me for so long,
I can’t let you die, you can’t die!
