Rainy days, long nights
Can’t sleep without hearing them lullabies
Silent thoughts, whispered prayers
Afraid of all those repeating nightmares
Unspoken sins, unforgivable lies
Yet she still looked at you with such kind eyes
Continuous pleads, empty words
Things that were never meant to be heard
Bloodstained clothes, dripping walls
Comfort and safety, what happened to it all?
Suffocated throat, teary eyes
This is the first time you’ve ever made me cry
Rainy days, long nights
Doesn’t she always tell me things will be alright?
Silent thoughts, whispered prayers
Someone please tell me this is all just a nightmare
Lifetime scars, broken family
Dad, just how could you do this to me?
