Falling slowly,
Innocence at war,
Changing quietly,
No longer the child before.
Utopia vanishing,
Amidst blood, lust and lies,
Children once endearing,
Observe through pensive eyes.
Loss of cherished purity,
The heartrending truth,
That virtuousness desired so vehemently,
Is lost in the days of youth.
