The owl flies silently,
Fleeing from a fiery devastation.
The woodland forest never stops burning,
The owl is exhausted; but he has no hesitation
To escape from what it once called paradise,
A place where animals were free to roam.
But now that place is engulfed in flames,
So the owl now flies endlessly from what was once his home.
Huge orange and yellow infernos light up the sky,
And nothing but fear takes hold
Of the woodland creatures that scamper and dash away,
Only to never return; even when all is quiet and cold.
The owl flies silently,
And silently it falls.
