Pass It On

Words cutting to the heart of all,
passed around the school yard and hall.
Notices of a child who once stood tall;
now the first to take the fall.

Family and friends fall to the ground,
trying to stay strong for everyone around.
A life full of talent now lies in ruin,
because nobody saw through the emotional illusion.

An entire life ended by lies;
because all ignored the whimpers and cries,
of a dying soul in need of aid.
When all the child could do was fade.

16 and far too young,
to see what comes from the barrel of a gun...
