A world entirely our own.
Created from our vast imaginations.
Where all is as we plan-
All is as we predict it to be.

Creatures unknown to reality,
Lives so exact,
Brilliant building and fabulous fields:
What more do I need for a perfect world?

But disaster can strike at any moment.
Causing terror to explode like a volcanic eruption,
Fear takes me in with open arms,
As I forcefully pinch myself.

But, as quickly as it comes,
It goes.
Life is again perfect.
But I am already awake.
