How to speak Gen. z?
What are we, another race?
Is it really that hard to see? We are the same, you and me
No matter what "generation".
No matter our likes of recreation.
Being a teenager,
It isn't so breezy,
Even though the books and media,
Make it look so easy.
Media gives us so many expectations, comparisons and alterations,
Trying to live up to something not real,
Skinny, blonde and beautiful, considered ideal.
We've been taught that beauty comes with benefits,
But really, why are our lives affected by it?
Then there is the pressure,
To do well, to impress,
To make a living for ourselves.
Trying to live up to the achievements of others,
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers.
