If you stood upon a dream,
Would you wonder how it felt?
Like standing upon chocolate,
Wait there as it melts.
If you suckle on the heartstrings,
Of everyone you meet,
They’ll see the you, that you give up,
Not the you that you call me.
In your defence or in attack,
You fire words of ice,
Impertinent as you walk,
Stand on hearts then watch them die.
But peace flows in the river,
And peace floats on the moon,
You might be sharp to the touch,
But peace flows within you.
