We know we treated you badly
We want to say sorry
We have different skin
It really doesn't matter
We have stolen your land and stolen your children
You lost most of your cultures and languages
We killed your ancestors and never respected you
We never knew how hateful and judgemental we were
And now your are so few
We know you treated us badly
We are glad you said sorry
You killed our ancestors with no mercy
Most of our generation was stolen
You are white and we are black
Why can't we just climb the ladder together
The way it must have been the first time we met
We are glad you said sorry
