Walking bye the trees at night the possums growl
Off in the distance dingoes howl
By day you go to the creek to see the turtle
On the way home you swear you saw something purple
Many small birds you will see each day
If you scare them they will fly away
The bush turkey is often around
Scraping and scavenging on the ground
The snakes and the goanna you will often see
Out in the paddock or up a tree
This is a day of life at my house
Where other days it is as quiet as a mouse
