I'm standing at the bottom of a waterfall
Observing the world around me.
I can see
All the innocent fish jumping away from the angry croc.
A goanna gobbling a minibeast.
All the native gum tree leaves dropping on the slippery rocks
A family of birds having a midday feast.
I can feel
All the water rippling around me,
Loneliness everywhere in the open space.
A sharp rock stabbing into my knee,
Salty sweat dripping down my face .
I can hear
Water falling of a giant rock wall,
A small mouse squeaking and a hissing snake.
Water crashing after the giant fall ,
A croc splashing in the middle of the lake.
