I’d like you to meet someone
Someone who you’ll never forget
She has a beautiful voice, as clear as water
To break death’s ballad with a songless cry
And she can dance just as gracefully, like a dream on wings
Like her charming ballet to her twisted requiem
She also has beautiful scarlet eyes, just like pretty gems
The same delirious colour that was spilt when she was a child.
And sweet pale lips, to deliver her song
And death’s enticing kiss.
Her presence makes other people smile
Though she yearns to dance in the crimson rain.
She has the prettiest face that I’ve ever seen
One that will soon be stained by a colour darker than red.
Her name is Lacie
Remember her well.
