Once Upon A Time

‘Once upon a time’ is such a wonderful phrase,
it tells of fair damsel and knighthood days,
it tells of magical lands of old,
and magnificent heroes bold.

Of fierce dragons guarding their treasures,
and of huge birds, with golden feathers.
It even tells of diamonds lost,
And thieves, who, for being bad, had to pay the cost.

And so tells this beginning of stories,
that tells of sadness, and tells of glory.
