Swiftly glides in the night,
The eagle soars while in flight,
Its eyes gaze without fright or fear,
The thing it wants is very near.
It swoops down without any cries,
And catches the fish from where the lake lies.
As I close my eyes and rest my sweet head,
I drift into sleep while on my soft bed,
And as I am slowly pulled into a dream,
My thoughts swell, shimmer and gleam.
After all, an eagle is strong and sure,
I have nothing to worry about, not anymore.
