Sleeping outside when the cold wind blows
Makes me shiver from head to toes
Resting their bodies
Right beside them their rifles and shoties
A trumpet sound everyone wakes
Marching past trees and lakes
CONTACT! A man has been hit in the chest
He was a mate of mine one of me best
The siren goes off everything goes crazy
It's time to fight not to be lazy
We charged off a head on crash
If it weren't for air support we been smash
The guns roared and just kept going
No signs of anyone slowing
But then ar last
The war had past
But everuone was quiet not a word was said.
After all alot of men were dead
