I don't understand
why people are so picky
why families can't just let it be
why cats like watching reality TV
But most of all
why people just don't think
why families bicker year after year
why cats stretch 'til their tongues peek out pink

What I understand is
why bulbs bloom
why the sun sets
why fireflies burn yellow-white light
