For me it is a curse
That plagues me till this day
Stuck with it forever
The signs cannot display
An interest to others
Blatant curiosity
They ask me all about it
And about its severity
It means that I miss out
On lifes simplest things
A donut, a pie
A bag of cheesy rings
It's crazy to think
That even if I beckoned
A bar of chocolate could kill me
Within a few precious seconds
Deadly circumstances
My stomach turns like geotaxis
So you might have guessed
I have anaphylaxis
I understand it's hard
And things could be much worse
But still I can't forget
This hidden daily curse
