I sit here battling numbers, while my thoughts waft outside to the swings.
I yearn them so much that I’m going to give up, when I suddenly hear some strange things.
At first I hear nothing but blowing, but then I hear some sort of squeak. I walk out the door and I see nothing more than a very young girl give a shriek!
She’s jumping around like a monkey, with a black clarinet in her hand. “Mummy I’ve got it! A sound came out of it!” “Oh yes, dear. That’s perfectly grand.”
From now on before doing work, I go over to watch her play. With that same thought, I’m no longer distraught, and I finish my math every day!
My mother comes over to see me. “I am very proud of you. How is it that you are so good at math? This I never knew!”
What I learned from these changes; aside from the square root of ten;
Is that to get quite good at what you never could -
You must work as hard as you can.
