Canvases start blank, bare,
Naked if you like,
Minds start like a canvas,
Blank and bare,
Slowly but surely they fill,
Our hearts,
Heavy and fragile, start full,
Years of wear,
Cause tears and tears,
Lines of imperfection,
Of our broken hearts,
Cause caution when loving again,
Love is lovely,
Could nine is where we stay,
But grizzly girls and bad boys,
Cause heavy hearts, wet cheeks,
And broken minds.
May our canvases fill with love,
Not longing,
And the stories of our lives,
Be joyous beautiful and bold,
In the end, everyone was born to die,
Death is peaceful,
So may you make the most of your canvas,
Full.
