Let's Run Away

Let’s run away from this town
Never again to be found
We'll carve our names in the forest's trees
Then sail across the world's widest seas
Making fear our friend and safety our enemy
Ditching fiction only accepting fantasy
Let’s escape from the misery and the pain
And smile whenever people call us insane
With scars fading and history dying
Refusing to become other lost souls crying
All of the rules we will soon defy
As we trade in the dull life soaring among an eternal high
It'll be perfect just you and me
Separated from the world and living in our dreams
Listen to my whispers and take my hand
Forever and ever our footprints kiss the sand
