A Day At The Beach

The sun against my face,
the sand in my toes,
makes any day a delight.

Swimming at the beach,
surfing through the waves,
makes everything seem alright.

Collecting seashells,
building a sandcastle
fit for a king.

Finding places to sit and rest,
some watched the waves,
while others just read books,
all under a clear blue sky.

The beach was quiet,
everybody had left,
it was a great day at the beach.
