They're young and full of energy, they like to bounce around
And when you need a smile, with them one can be found
They make things out of paper, that we think have no use
But when these things are tossed, it's a small treasure that we lose
They always need attention, they always want to play
Sometimes we get frustrated, tell them to go away
But one thing we must realise, one thing we must do
Keep all these moments, good or bad, very close to you
Cause one day when we want, to play with them once more
They'll be grown up and tall , and want to play no more
