Missing You

My heart misses you in the summer,
When the sun blazes in the sky,
And the fiery sunsets are spent alone,
As I lay awake and cry,

My heart yearns for you in the autumn,
When the golden leaves fall,
And soft rain drizzles down upon me,
On my hands and knees I crawl,

My heart aches for you in the winter,
When my weeping tears freeze,
And the frost claims my heart,
While snow blows in the breeze,

My heart dies for you in the spring,
When the flowers bud and bloom,
And the animals wake from sleep,
Green vines grow over my tomb.
