Battle Field

My head is blank…There is nothing inside
What to write?…My teacher says “Think Toben Think!”
But there is nothing left in the tank
Then I said to myself “I might just give up”
Then I went home and my Mum and Dad had faith in me
So I kept trying and trying and finally I got it
Why not write about my writer’s blank
So here I am writing about my writer’s blank
My mind is a battle field…Emotions fighting emotions
Thoughts battling thoughts…It’s like mini soldiers running around
My head is spinning…I don’t know what to do
The battle is growing more when people talk to me
Fuelling one side then the other…I have to have meditation
Music on to get to sleep at night…I’m tossing and turning not
Knowing what to do…It feels like guns firing
Bombs exploding…Tanks driving…This War is driving me crazy.
