You Died Too Young

When you died
I cried
Because you were dead
And dead means no longer there
To laugh and cry and pull my hair
I cried again
That day of pain
Too soon it came, all too soon
But is too soon not always true
For any claiming to have loved you?
The blood watered the ground
I cried once more
My heart didn't break, my heart it tore
Heart's blood, reddening the ground
The crops shall grow in your blood this year
The plants around, both far and near
And I will eat them gladly, grown from your bones
If it means I can touch you
Hear you
See you
Just one more time
