Twas a blimble night,
Cold as the frosted sea,
In the woods full of spite,
With creatures who glurk, sliver and screech at me.
And one who terrifies and gobbles all it meets,
With teeth so sharp, and claws so long,
That shives and crackles as they clash along,
And crunches your bones in one swift click.
So run fast and far,
For the Mimzy eats quicks,
With a clack and a snick,
You’ll be nothing but a stick.
With all it’s six legs,
And a slimy red blick,
So don’t go in the woods,
For the Mimzy’s got a brick.
