She eyes the furry- haired creatures-
Soft as velvet to her chest,
Cuddles one with cat- like features
Betty one might guess.
Hungry beaks fly past for food
Children join in the fast
The little girl has a bad mood
Cat grabs birdy- the very last.
Little girl inspects the catch,
Feathers in a mix of fur.
Hears the caw for a new batch,
Cause cat to come and purr...
Finds the honey to draw them close,
Hesitant but followers pace
Straight into the trap at most,
A small deceitful cage of space.
