Sad Sad Me

I was the sadest girl you'd ever see,
Sad because nobody like me.
My class is my jail,
My teacher said I would fail.
Everyday I stood alone,
Just can't wait to go home.
At half past four,
Sara Brown walked through the door.
She took one look at me,
And said "Would you like to play with me?"
She was the nicest girl you'd ever see,
We played in the shade of an apple tree.
She was always my friend,
And my heart was on the mend.
She was my one and only friend.
Until she said lets not be friends.
I cried and cried,
My heart felt as though it died.
