Giving In

I like to think I’ll never give in,
But sometimes I really do,
But as time goes on I begin to realize,
That sometimes it is good to.

Then sometimes I truly never give in,
But maybe that’s not so good,
Because holding a grudge is like forming a wall,
Between two people, a barrier of wood.

A grudge can destroy relationships,
Formed over many a year,
It can tear you apart from your family and friends,
Giving in can bring back the cheer.

So next time that you have a fight,
Think before you speak,
It’s good to give in to people you like,
As long as they're not using cheek!
