Water Side

The waves turn dark blue and grey,
The smashing sound hollows throughout the day,
When night falls the water stays with the whipping sand making patterns,
The land with the shrubs with flowery bouquet in a ball,
As the pelicans swoop the sky without a single fall,
I watch the action which is so peaceful in the sky you see,
The day may end but not the sea,
All the fish swim with delicate splashes,
Dolphins dive and dash through the water that gushes,
The pen house is near trees,
But the vines reach out to the sand,
Scattering crabs although the sea,
Yabbies hollow holes are full of water,
As out the vacuum pulls its sand in then,
This is the Ocean Side to me.
