You Survived.

I know it's hard to see the light,
when everyday you live in fright.
The tears falling from your eyes,
are the result of so many stupid lies.
The blood being shed, the pain you feel.
You'll tell yourself it isn't real,
but it is and you know I'm right,
because you cry yourself to sleep at night.
You'll ask yourself,'Do they really care?',
because when you're sad they're never there.
You think, 'Is it worth it anymore?',
because your eyes are getting sore.
But in the end, you'll be able to smile,
and you'll be happy, in a while.
The pain will be a memory, a chapter of your story.
Now that part is over, you can live your life in glory.
The tears were only water, your blood was only wine.
You never gave up fighting, see I said you would survive.
