[Peace]
At long last
Noise came to a close
Senses slowed to a halt
Tranquillity arose
The world shut down around me
Like the slam of a door
Only with the sound of peace
One would likely adore
So as I drifted closer
To an even better world
That held serene certainty
It quickly unfurled
A world of great abyss
An empty plateau
That had since stood silent
Abandoned long ago
I longed for a way out
I yelled and screamed
But my voice was empty
I could not shout
So I quickly realised
That though silence is key
The noise of those around you
Keeps your mind safe and free
I arose from deep sleep
The world around me restored
I smiled as I heard noises
I would have normally ignored
Noises flashed left and right
Colours appeared in contrast
Everything was normal
At long last
