She has her head to the floor, with her ball and her chain.
She slumps in the corner, while her memories remain.
Her eyes tell a story, of a man so cold.
She danced with the devil her heart has been sold.
She put the blade into his chest, and with one swift move,
found his heart, it was quick to remove.
He screamed for mercy, and though she did not requite,
So his blood curdling screams ran all through the night.
She’d be free as a bird realised from it’s cage,
from the pain he delt from his own rage.
She wiped off the blood, and blew him a kiss,
for now she knew he would never be missed.
As she was done, the message was clear.
He was gone forever, she had nothing to fear.
She still waits in the dark, to live out her sentence.
Surrounded by walls, and barb wire fences.
There is no escape for the wicked and cruel,
To dance with the devil you must be a fool.
