One Friday night Eltham Wildcats were playing their semi-final. Against a team they have never won against before.
The score line was tight and it as a tensed game. There is a minute to go before the end of the game. Eltham brought the ball down the court and set up their offence. Defence was strong. Eltham kicked it out to the wing and cut hard but…… Instead of running their play they drove hard to the basket and scored. The crowd goes wild!
20 seconds left on the clock Eltham plays hard defence and turns it over but sadly goes out of court. Opposition’s ball. 5 seconds left!
5…4…3…2…1. YEAH!!!
Eltham end up winning the grand final by 4 goals, 8 points.
