A Dark Misty Night

On a dark, misty night as I walked through the street there was no one around. It was silent, you couldn't even hear a leaf falling. In front of me, perched on top of a hill was a giant, skyscraper castle. There was a tall fence surrounding it. I pushed open the gate, it made a CREEEAAAAAAK. I slowly walked up the stony, mouldy pathway. As I reached the door I noticed it was slightly opened. I peered through the crack and saw a candle casting shadows. Suddenly it went out. I hesistantly crept in. There was a spiral staircase leading up to the library. With my heart pounding I cautiously climbed the stairs. There were rows and rows of books lining the shelves. I felt a touch an my shoulder, I slowly turned around and froze...
"Dad, what are you doing here"! I exclaimed.
