Mind You

The mind, I think, is a funny place,
As it cowers behind face after face.
And once in a while,
Others and I'll, puzzle on its case.
I have found a corner piece.
It appears to me that at the root of the mess;
The 'Understanding' naught can possess,
The mind itself can't begin to confess.
It's improbable and infinite,
Elaborate and intricate,
Impossible to interpret.
No wonder we love it.
The mind, mind you, is a funny place,
Forever creating face after face.
For who dares think what would happened if we opened its door
To enter that trap, we'd become our own Minotaur
