You can do your make-up, you can cut your hair, but it doesn’t matter because you’ll always be the same deep down under there,
It doesn’t matter where you’re going, it doesn’t matter where you’re from, but hopefully you’ll end up where you belong,
Regardless of the future, Regardless of the past, Live life and make it last,
With all your courage, with all you might, you must fight, Fight for the right to be who you are
Because, you can do your make-up, you can cut your hair, but it doesn’t matter, because you’ll always be the same deep down under there,
Beauty can only be determined by you, so let yourself be beautiful and true,
Stay true to your gut and what you believe in; don’t fall into the lives of those of who sinned,
Even if it seems like in this world you stand alone, don’t stand around and groan,
Because, you can do your make-up, you can cut your hair, but it doesn’t matter because you’ll always be the same deep down under there,
You’re a different person than were yesterday, Make that person bigger, better, don’t take the negative road home,
Let the people that care help, you’re not alone, you see the messages on your phone, and you can hear the message tone,
Pick it up and see, a lot of people care about me, Even if you are not pretty, Even if you’re not smart,
The genuine friends will never want to be apart, Apart from you, As long as you stay true,
Because to them it doesn’t matter if you dress up all hot, walk around in your heels and trot,
It doesn’t matter if you wear cool jewels, Or if you try to act cool and end up acting like a fool,
It doesn’t matter if you do your make-up, Or if you cut your hair, because to the ones that care your still the same deep down under there.
