Day at the beach!
Waves crashing in the warm morning air,
People chatting, their whispering in my ear.
Cold, cold ice-cream gliding down my throat,
It’s sliding at the speed of a flying boat.
Sand crunching and crackling below me feet,
Sea salt you wouldn’t dare eat.
The heat scorching too hot to think,
I’m going to go take a dip but I might sink.
What if a shark comes to eat?
I’ll be the first, it will meat.
Out of the water, onto the sand,
Can’t find my towel, must be lost on the land.
