People here, people there,
people gathered everywhere
Some are small and some are tall,
Heavy metal, opera and all
Some are peaceful, some like war
Some are flat, just like a door
They could be anything they want to be
As long as they are happy as can be.


People, people all year round,
Queens with crowns,
or those that make no sound,
They could be hard or they could be soft
And some of them look like an old face cloth
I like people just like you and me,
But the best kinds are the ones with open hearts for everyone to see.
