You Were My Rose

You and I were thorns in the beginning
The feud of Mercutio and Tybalt
Nothingness but the continuous debating
We never thought but verbalize our ire volt
At times you made me disgust in green
The thought of the ladder was a skyline
It was you that I wasn’t too keen
But at times I see you as my sunshine
I wonder hopelessly in the forest
But I could imagine you next to me
My blood bled and sold roses at the florist
You were my white lighter and protected me
Your touch was holy as my rosed petals
Every moment that I imagine as my forte
At times now I imagine the rosed petals
The rosed petals of what was my fate
