How The Piggy Bank Got Its Name

A long time ago on a quiet little farm, in a quiet little town, in a quiet little part of Australia, there was a quiet little pig. He was quite an ordinary pig until one night a fairy came.

The next morning Porker, the pig, went to the toilet he pooed a gold coin! The famer was shocked to see a gold coin in his hands! Porker did it again so the farmer loved him.

People came from all over the globe to see the pig that poos gold coins. From that day on people called their money boxes a piggy bank, in hope that it might poo gold coins.
