You And Me

I'm left with a heartache no one can heal,
you've left me with memories no one can steal,
who ever knew that the last time you walked out that door,
would be the last time i saw you anymore,
so now it hurts beyond all comprehension,
grief has given me an incurable tension,
before i didn't realize what you meant to me,
but now i have truly lost. i can finally see.
So my soul is like an empty vat,
my heart a cold throne where you once sat,
my mind a cave where memories continue to echo,
you were my comfort so i can never let go.
