Take my shoes, I’ll walk in yours.
I don’t want to be alone no more.
Please, change places with me,
if only for a day.

I’m drowning in my woes,
the distance grows more,
with every sun rise and set,
I feel you move further away.
I reach out, and try to hold on…

In this dark and dreary world,
you are my saving grace.
For saving you, just might save me too.
