Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are
Why you disappear in my time of need
Why you sit and watch me bleed
You're so far away, so distant, so dead
Whilst I scream and cry on sheets stained red
Perhaps it's not you, perhaps, perhaps
If I just calm down, try to relax
I'll see that the stars are alive In me
They are the symbol of all I can be
I miss you when the darkness closes in
It feels like a battle I cannot win
But you're always there, a guardian, a hope
You are the solution, not a blade, or rope
I can go on, I will live, I will fight!
It will not be easy, but I will make it through the night
I may be struggling but I am not alone
The stars are my joy, my love, my home
They are all I hope to be, that I know I will achieve
I can see happiness on the horizon, I know, I believe
So many stars, all of them mine
I will live my life, one star at a time
