Oceans wide as my heart’s desire,
For a love as pure as yours.
Untouched, by you.
Yet to grace its presence.
It lingers, waiting.
Waves form in the evening breeze,
Stillness in the winter shadows,
Disturbed, in the early morning rain,
Glistening with the sun’s reflection.
Spreading across the four corners of the Earth,
Impossible, yet filled endlessly with possibilities.
We shall delve into its welcoming arms,
Sink to the ocean floors,
Far away from the storms that rage above us.
