Recipe Of Life

Two teaspoons of sugar and a dash of happy,
A drizzle of honey and a love note.
A sprinkle of pepper and a seed of chilli,
One cup of syrup and a famous quote.

Old memories all wrapped in brown paper,
Photos of past days gone by.
A squeeze of a lemon (not too sour),
Tears from eyes that used to cry.

Springs, Winters, Summers, Autumns.
Lots of pretty golden bliss.
Gifts and letters, mixed with cards,
And a beautiful lover's first kiss.

Stir for five minutes,
Mix it well.
And there you have this poem to tell.
That is the true recipe of life.
