Water falling from the splintering heavens above,
Translucent pearls of moisture, expressing nature's love,
Desperately needed, by the dry barren land,
The raindrops are mother nature's great helping hand.
Fertility revived, the animals feast once more,
Birds sing their thanks and the good king roars,
Waterholes refilled, quenching all thirst,
Soon mammals graze, all wanted to be first.
Ah, the refreshment brought upon us by rain,
Every single droplet a bundle of joy,
A miracle indeed rain is,
Wonderful.
