Just Imagine...

What if gingerbread people were actually alive?
Many would come from the magical oven
As though they could dance, twist and jive.
They might even do a hi-five.
What if Christmas cakes were wobbly like jelly?
They would be soft and squishy
Before they entered your belly.
Just remember they’re not at the deli.
What if lemonade was a substance from the sky?
You could check the forecast to discover
That while you strolled it came and let fly.
Be thankful it’s not custard pie!
What if our own selfishness ceased to exist?
Everything was offered by someone else
And we gave, just like that, in a flick.
Peace and good feelings would come like a gift.
