I Am From...

I am from the love of my family, warm smiles as we share our evening meals,
The tender touch of a caring mum, and the soft hugs and kisses of a protective dad,
I am from the amazing creator, the most merciful and beneficent,
From the religion which spreads the message of equality, humanity and peace,
The bundles of laughter to the tears on my pillow, and unanswered cries,
The grief and sadness that made me strong,
I am from the big white snowmen, splish splash of the water,
the red and golden tulips blooming and dancing in the breeze,
I am from dark chocolate, crazy cherries, yummy mangoes red ruby pomegranates,
I am from the art lovers, colorful paints like a rainbow,
I am from the mixture of languages, Farsi, Urdu and English,
I am form the books and knowledge, the hard work and study & sleepless nights during exams,
I am from the written diaries, that speaks from the soul,
I am from past and present & dreams of the future,
